In the omake subfolder is three ips files from the bonus Omake/Gamedata disc from the Japanese PC Downtown Smash Dodgeball.  

dtjz_V1.ips
for the 8-bit Famicom
Downtown Special: Kunio-kun no Jidaigeki Dayo Zenin Shuugou!
-Starts you with apparently all special techniques and you just have
turn on which ones you want in tech subscreen.
-Adds option of characters being controlled by COM and COM.
-But going into item subscreen freezes game, unless maybe you buy an item first.
-Not compatible with the English translation patch.

dtnm_V3.ips
Apparently for 8-bit Famicom Downtown Nekketsu Monogatari
No idea what it does and don't know why they're bothering with that version when
there's the GBA EX, other than that this version is two players.

nmex_D.ips
I guess this is the old v1.0 patch of EX's Parodi*Ban 2007 Special
for Gameboy Advance Downtown Nekketsu Monogatari EX

In the Koushin-ips folder is two zips I think I found somewhere on KunioRyu's site

Koushin patches (Did not attempt to combine with English translation patch)
for the 8-bit Famicom Downtown Nekketsu Kousinkyoko: Soreyuke Daiundoukai

These first four from one zip unfortunately mess up graphics of characters climbing, swimming,
and stumbling:

This patch seems to work perfectly.
Nekketsu_Koushinkyoku_X_Kunioryu_Edition_Ver1.2
Puts Riki, Gouda, Godai, Shinichi, and Sonokawa on the Nekketsu team.
Puts Yamada/Slick/Skip, Toudou/Titus/Todd, and Otis/Onizuka on Reihou.
Replaces Hanazono and Rengou with
Americans/Oklahoma team from Bikkuri Nekketsu Shin Kiroku! Harukanaru Kin Medal
(Japanese Street Challenge)
And Tigers (with the Tiger Mask bosses from Kakutou Densetsu but unmasked)

One from the other zip with the same file name+special allows you to use special techs in the normal
race event but it messes up the graphics like the rest of those.

A lot of people are still messing with an old incomplete v.075 translation for Dunk Heroes.  Here's Farid's v1.2 complete translation.

I'm going to upload hacked states for the Famicom version but you're limited in what match-ups you can have in that. There's already info on what hex address to go to set the hex values for the teams you want.

I've been messing around with practically all versions of the Nekketsu Soccer.

It turns the Japanese Sharp X68000 and Sega Mega Drive versions let you select any team in vs mode.  Palsoft screwed up control and hit detection and nerfed most players' shots really bad in the MD version though.  The Sharp version is closest to the Famicom/NES, except I can't get its save system to work that it has in place of passwords.  F4 brings up a music select for practically any part of the game to change what's playing.  It even has menu music from RCR and I think some music from Renegade/Kouha Kunio-kun.

Most versions have additional teams.
The PCE Hucard has 13th match against Rocket Scientists, but not the other countries form the PCE CD which has France, Brazil, Argentina, Italy, Germany for 13th to 17th.  The Mega Drive version has a 13th match against all-stars.  Someone from each of the first six teams in the first half and the last six teams in the second half.

I hacked save states for Kunio's Nekketsu Soccer league for 8-bit FC with already having the team hack, so I can play as four additional teams: Korea, an African Cameroon version of Nekketsu, a European German Nekketsu, and a South American Brazilian Nekketsu.

I beat the Nintendo DS version called River City Soccer Hooligans which plays pretty similar despite being 3D.  South Africa replaces Guinea.  Spain replaces Italy.  And the new final toughest team is Tokioka Corporation cyborgs.  They have red eyes and their heads spin totally around when celebrating.

Over 13 years ago I uploaded a World Cup/NKS faq to GameFAQs for NES and PCE CD.  I'll update that sometime, especially since I think I got all correct speed, hit points, and shot steps for all teams US or Japanese version.  Most usually unplayable teams in the Japanese have shot steps of only 1.  You start to move and immediately kick.  In Sharp X68000 they gave an option screen (press F2 on title) to turn off super shots as a balancing option.
